Faith is currently playing four different characters at Meow Wolf—a personified pile of laundry, a beetle that gets intercepted by radio waves, a well-traveled nerd dad, and a giant “flicker worm” puppet. She has loved playing each of these characters while experimenting with improv and characterization!

Faith co-directed three musicals through Theatre Arlington’s ACT UPS Program alongside each school’s music teacher. She taught theatre to 4th graders in the fall, and put on Willy Wonka, Finding Nemo, and The Lion King in the spring. She was in charge of blocking, choreography, costumes, warm-ups, and more!

Faith and her comedy troupe, On The Wall, assembled two comedic pieces for Hip Pocket’s first ever Puppet Slam. Clowns seduced audience members, stole their items, played movie charades, defused bombs, and more! Faith served as co-director facilitating these devised ideas.

Faith was a performer for Theatre Arlington’s Show-in-a-Box for a full semester. She traveled to Arlington elementary schools to perform a rendition of Aesop’s Fables. She played several different animal and narrator roles. After performances, she taught workshops centered around anthropomorphism.

Faith was an improviser and interactive actor for two holiday attractions—The Boomont Hotel and Snowday. Faith created unique desk clerk and bellhop characters that guided “hotel guests” through the beginning of their spooky journey. She also played an elf on the shelf spreading holiday cheer and taking fun photos!

Faith revived Flight 12 as a UTA organization after its hiatus due to COVID. Faith served three semesters as President. She organized weekly rehearsals, public performances, workshops, and guest speakers. The improv troupe learns various short form games, long form scene-work, and fun, group exercises!

Faith took a Physical Theatre class at UTA under director Felicia Bertch. She explored European clown and devised a piece unique to her clown’s personality. Her clown was named “Big Poppa Ozrab.” This clown was keen on making a huge mess onstage, interacting closely with the audience, and roasting viewers without ever speaking a single word.

Ironically, Faith was cast within “Room Service” as The Director while working outside the play as the assistant director. She was in charge of blocking and directing the infamous food gorging scene, preparing understudies for their Saturday matinee, and performing each night. She then created an undergraduate research poster presentation to relate her findings to the UTA community.

Faith served as artistic director for UTA’s “Theatre For Change Project.” Faith managed nine student playwrights, directors, and over forty actors. She oversaw the casting process, created programs, and successfully put on two nights of performances. She also directed one of the ten-minute pieces that explored themes of toxic masculinity, body dysmorphia, and gym culture.

While working at Circle Theatre as a box office intern, Faith was granted the opportunity to conduct research for “Artemisia” by Lauren Gunderson (who she even got to meet!) Her dramaturgy primarily consisted of highlighting Artemisia Gentileschi’s famous paintings featured in the play.

Faith planned and organized UTA’s first ever Saturday Night Live event complete with student-written sketches, a “celebrity” host, musical guest, and a weekend update segment. She wrote and directed two sketches that were audience favorites! Flight 12 and Black Theatre Society worked together to put on a hilarious night of comedy that will continue to be an annual UTA tradition!
